Peach Picking

When I picked up my life and moved to Central Florida a few years back I really had no idea what kind of life I was signing up for. I truly didn’t think it would be much different than my life in south Florida…how wrong I was. Life is quieter here in all the best ways possible. That’s probably my favorite part. In addition to the silence, I love all the cool unique things I’ve gotten to do here since moving that I honestly never knew you could do in Florida. I got to cut down my own Christmas tree, pick a pumpkin off the actual vine, pick fresh organic blueberries and now I can add peach picking to the list. I didn’t even know peaches grew in Florida.

I missed the peach season last year so I knew I needed to make it happen this year. Then bam, COVID-19 hit. Thankfully Graham’s U-Pick, which is just a few minutes from the house opened up a few weeks ago for their u-pick season. It made for the perfect outdoor, socially distanced, family outing. Kevin and I took little man and met my parents there for a nice morning outside. The farm is adorable and the peaches were delicious!

Our little bag of peaches gotten eaten up pretty quick in our house for mid-day snacks, some baby food of course, and even some peach french toast.
